You are invited to come stretch and renew your body and spirit through the age-old, yet ever-new, practice of yoga. Classes meet Thursday from 4:30-5:40 PM and 5:45-6:55 PM in the Youth Room upstairs by the Grace Gathering Room. Both classes focus on alignment, breathing, movement and balance. No yoga experience is necessary. Classes are led by Shelly Rhodes-RYT 200 and Robin Olson-RYT 200. Bring a mat and wear comfy clothes. Hope to see you soon!
Have you been curious about yoga but not sure about all of the up and down from the floor movement or have limited range of motion in hips and knees? Come try Chair Yoga! You will learn a variety of poses to stretch and strengthen your muscles, lubricate your joints, and promote mental concentration. This practice will focus on alignment and form tailored to individual abilities and done while seated or standing next to a chair. It will be each Wednesday from 7-8 p.m. in the Grace Gathering Room.
